Notes for Printer Setup
Windows
The built-in drivers are sufficient for basic printing. Otherwise follow the step-by-step instructions instead.
OS X
HP printers are autodetected by the printer utility. The copy machine in the Vislab will not work when installed through autodetection. Follow the step-by-step instructions instead.
Linux
HP printers are autodetected by the printer utility.

Printer Naming Syntax
Room Name and/or Room # - Printer Type - Hostname
Examples:
- Vislab (Room 313) - Xerox Copier - LJ6
- Room 327 - B/W Laser - LJ1

If you need to install a printer manually please use the hostname instead of the IP address so that your printing is not affected if we need to change the IP address.
