You have a personal storage area on our servers called home directory available for your files and data. If you want to have your data backed up automatically or would like to access them from any computer just move them to this directory.
Located in our Vislab (Room 331) are several shared computers that are hooked up to the Internet and available for your use. These Windows and Macintosh computers feature a broad array of Internet, Office, Graphics, and Scientific/Analytical application software. If you cannot locate the package that you need, please ask one of the computing support staff for assistance. We also have available a limited number of Windows and Mac Laptops that can be loaned out.
NCEAS has a high performance analytical server available for use by residents.
